Researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago are studying whether an online intervention to treat traumatic stress in pregnant women is acceptable. This research study can be completed online and does not require any in-person visits.

This study may be a good fit for you if you are pregnant and are:

 

  1. 16-28 weeks along in your pregnancy 

  2. Having difficulty recovering from a stressful or traumatic event you experienced or witnessed

 

If you decide to take part in this research, you

 

  1.  Will be asked to use online tools designed to improve mental health during and after pregnancy. These tools have lessons to read and watch and  exercises each week. 

  2.  Will complete electronic questionnaires about your mood and mental health during your pregnancy and after the delivery of your baby. You will complete questionnaires at 4 different time points throughout the study. 

  3.  Will participate in this research study for up to 12 weeks after your baby is born.

Participants will be compensated for their time with gift cards.

To be eligible for compensation, you must provide a verifiable US-based phone number. A phone call with a research team member is required before compensation is sent.
